How Do I know what package to choose?

What is included in the complimentary engagement session?

-4 hour packages are best for small, intimate weddings to cover only the basics such as guests arriving, ceremony and portraits. 
-6 hour packages are ideal for ceremony and reception coverage. It typically is not enough time to include coverage of getting ready photos or the full reception, however it does provide enough coverage for the biggest parts of the day. 
-8 hour packages are for full coverage of your day including getting ready, the dancing at the reception, etc. 

Engagement sessions are a time for us to get to meet each other and take some fun photos for you to use for save the dates and to cherish forever! The session includes 1 outfit change, a location within 20 miles of Newville, PA, 40 minutes of photography and 40 digital images. Depending on the time of the year, availability may be limited to weeknights.

How long until my photos are delivered?

Turn around times are very important to me and I only take on a select number of weddings each year to ensure that galleries can be delivered within 3 weeks. You won't be waiting months!!

Striking the right balance between posed and candid moments is essential to capturing authentic emotions and connections. I provide guidance for posing to help you feel comfortable and confident while still allowing your true personality to shine through. My goal is not to create stiff or artificial images, but rather to weave together the art of direction with the spontaneity of candid moments. By using a combination of gentle prompts and engaging interactions, I encourage natural movements that allow for genuine expressions, making the experience enjoyable and relaxed.

Payments can be made by cash, a mailed check, a credit card, or Venmo.  Payment is requested to be held until 1 month prior to the wedding date.

What are your payment options & Can i pay ahead?

IF OUR VENUE IS FURTHER THAN THE INCLUDED MILEAGE, HOW MUCH EXTRA IS IT?

$1.00/mile after the limit within the package is met. For example: If the package includes 40 miles, but your venue is 50 miles away from Newville, PA; that is an extra 10 miles of travel and therefore will cost $10 extra dollars. There is no extra charge for travel back home from the venue. 

How do you back up your photos to be sure they aren't lost?

what happens if you have an emergency and can't make it to my wedding? do you have somebody to fill in for you?

How do I get my photos afterwards?

As photos are taken throughout the day, they are saved on my dual memory card slots, which means that the photos are saved onto two cards.  After the wedding, they are brought home and downloaded to my computer and backed up on a hard drive. 

In the unfortunate event of an emergency, the second shooter would become the primary photographer of the wedding. Then, a list of photographers would be contacted to try our best to fill in the second shooter spot. I'm a member of several broad networks of photographers who I would feel comfortable calling on in the case of an emergency. 

Every package includes a guaranteed minimum number of delivered images. This means that per hour of photography, you are guaranteed to have 50 professionally edited images. However, this number is a minimum and when deciding which images to deliver I do not work around a target number of delivered images. What this means is that I will never hold back on delivering a good photo because I’ve already reached a quota; If an image is sharp and in focus, well exposed, has good expressions and is NOT a duplicate, I will include it in the gallery. 

Your photos will be conveniently organized in an online gallery designed for your enjoyment and ease of access. Once your images are ready, you will receive a link that directs you to this virtual space, where you can admire all your captured memories in one place. The online gallery allows you to download your photographs effortlessly, ensuring you have high-quality versions for printing or sharing on social media. Additionally, you can easily share individual images or entire albums with family and friends, letting them experience those special moments with you. The intuitive interface of the gallery makes it simple to navigate through your collection. 

can I bring my pet?

Of Course! As a pet lover myself, I know that pets are more than animals. They are our fur children! Including them in an engagement session or wedding day is the perfect way to incorporate them into your special day. 

do you offer more hours than the 8 hour package?

After photographing many many weddings, I have found that if the timeline is well planned, there is usually no need for your photographer to be present form more than 8 hours, therefore I do not offer more than 8 hours for a wedding day.  I work with each of my brides to help create a realistic timeline that will allow all of the important aspects of the day to be captured.
